TWO CHINESE SILVER INLAID 'SHI SOU' BRONZE TRIPOD INCENSE BURNERS 17TH/18TH CENTURY Each with a compressed circular body inlaid with silver wire with taotie masks and key fret, with loop handles rising from the rims, all supported on three tall legs, with two character marks to the bases, 15cm and 14.5cm, 915g and 707g. (2) Provenance: from the collection of Professor Peter H Plesch and Mrs Traudi Plesch OBE and thence by descent, the tripod collection no.Br15, purchased on 13th December 1992 for £110.
