A CHINESE INSCRIBED YELLOW JADE ARCHER'S RING
QIANLONG MARK AND PROBABLY OF THE PERIOD
The face carved with a sampan beneath a tree, with brown inclusions to the stone, the reverse engraved with a poem and a seal, which reads gu xi tian zi, 3.5cm.
Provenance: from the collection of Professor R W Jackson.
The poem reads:
Yu e ceng jing pi su gong,
Cheng tu jiao jiao jian yong Zhong.
Fei liu yang tiao yi bu jin,
Yu guo shi qiao yuan geng qiong.
