BUTTERFLIES AND FLOWERS IN THE BAMBOO PAGODA

Comprising: twelve watercolour depictions of butterflies and flowers; one signed by the artist and dated to the Jiaqing dingsi year (1797) and with Huating, Shenghua and Qingyuan artists' seals; the remaining each with an artist's seal; within wooden covers with a title slip inscribed Zhu An Hua Die (Butterflies and Flowers in the Bamboo Pagoda), signed Shi Lian and dated to Autumn of the Jiaqing gengwu year (1810), each 24cm x 31cm.
