A Chinese Yixing pewter-mounted San Ke Zhu teapot and cover 18th century, the square-section body decorated with prunus sprays and calligraphy, a seal mark to the interior, probably for Yang Pengnian, the knop, handle and spout of hardstone, 15.5cm. (2) Provenance: from the collection of John and Helen Bargolini. With paper label, exhibited Hoghton Tower, Exhibition of Chinese Tea Ware, Yixing Purple Clay, no.6.
