A massive Chinese blue and white basin c.1800, painted with a figure in a small boat and other vessels in a watery mountainous landscape and pagodas, the rim with four geometric border designs, the exterior with large sprays of lotus, peony, pine and chrysanthemum, all raised on a painted hardwood stand, 67.5cm diameter.
