A SAFAVID BLUE AND WHITE KENDI
17TH CENTURY

The ovoid body painted with panels of birds among foliage and a deer in a landscape, the neck decorated with a bird in a spray of flowers, and foliate scrolls to the rim, shoulder, spout and short tapering foot, all outlined in black, the base with a square mark, 17.3cm.
