SIX-CHARACTER DAOGUANG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1821-50

Decorated with a continuous scene depicting the demon queller Zhong Kui giving his sister away in marriage, the figures all in a fenced garden with attendants among rockwork and flowering trees, the sides applied with gilt mythical beast masks issuing metal drop handles, the interior and the base enamelled turquoise, 17cm.
