TWO CHINESE BRONZE FIGURES OF BUDDHA AND A MANJUSRI
LATE MING DYNASTY
The Buddha seated in dhyanasana, loosely dressed in a dhoti draping in folds, with a swastika on the chest, his right hand holding an alms bowl, the bodhisattva seated upon a recumbent qilin in lalitasana raised on a lotus pedestal, wearing elaborate crowns, robes and jewellery, 4.8kg and 2.2kg, 29.3cm and 24cm.
