Painted with flowering peonies amongst leafy foliage to the interior, within a border of ruyi-heads around the rim, decorated with three lotus scrolls to the underside, the base with a four character Hongxian mark in overglaze blue, 17.3cm. (2)

Provenance: from an English private collection, Somerset, acquired no later than the 1950s, and thence by descent.
