Depicting the parinirvana of Buddha, he lies on a bed wearing loose robes, with an archway and pillars framing the scene, all attached to a modern stand, 21cm.
Provenance: formerly a Japanese private collection acquired in the 1980s; and then the collection of Mr Richard Nathanson (d.2018), by repute purchased from Jonathan Tucker on 5th February 2014.
