TWO CHINESE JADE 'LOTUS' BRUSH WASHERS

One worked in celadon jade as a large lotus leaf furling at the edges, the underside with a smaller leaf and a flower bud growing from a rhizome, with some brown inclusions in the stone, the other carved in white and russet jade as a large lotus flowerhead, the petals curling in at the rim, with a seed pod and a large leaf beside the bloom, the base with the remains of an old paper label, one with a wood stand, 7.5cm and 8.3cm.
