The cat-like beast depicted reclining with its head lifted, with its rear legs and tail to one side, the flattened ovoid fruits issuing from a leafy branch, with fine vines trailing over them, each with minor russet markings, 7.2cm and 4.1cm. (2)

Provenance: from an English private collection, Kent, mostly acquired between 1970 and 1990.
