A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE PLAQUE INSET IN A GILT-COPPER BOX AND A WHITE JADE PENDANT

The plaque formed as a lock, carved with a prunus branch encircled by lotus and archaistic beasts, set in the hinged cover of a metal box decorated with floral designs, the pendant carved with stylised mythical creatures clambering over the body, incised to each side with scrolls, the plaque 8.4cm, the box 4.7cm x 8.6cm x 6.6cm, the pendant 5.5cm.
