A CHINESE ENAMELLED IRON-RED GROUND HEXAGONAL-SECTION SNUFF BOTTLE

Painted to each facet with alternating panels enclosing mountainous landscapes and lines of calligraphy, with gilt bats and geometric designs to the iron-red ground, the base with a four character mark reading Shen De Tang zhi, 6.8cm.

Provenance: from an English private collection, West Yorkshire, formed in the 1970s and 1980s.
