A CHINESE YELLOW-GROUND 'LANDSCAPE' PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE

The pear-shaped body rising to a tall neck terminating in a garlic-head mouth, finely painted with a continuous scene depicting figures in a mountainous river landscape, with two lines of calligraphy and three seal marks above, the base with a four character Daoguang mark in iron-red, 8cm.
Provenance: from an English private collection, West Yorkshire, formed in the 1970s and 1980s.
