Probably aloeswood, the figure sits wearing loose robes draped over one shoulder, he clasps a string of beads in one hand which rests upon his raised knee, with a small lion dog pup clambering on his lap, together with a fitted wood box and cover containing a removable silk cover, 10cm across. (4)
