A CHINESE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF A FOURTEEN-ARMED BODHISATTVA
QING DYNASTY
The figure cast seated in dhyanasana with his two principal arms clasped before him, holding many precious objects in his other hands including medallions inscribed with characters for the sun and moon, a sword, a bell, a bow and a goblet, wearing a crown decorated with seated figures upon his head, 30.5cm, 7.5kg.
