A TIBETAN GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF PADMAPANI
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Cast standing in tribhanga upon a lotus base, with one hand held before his bare chest and the other facing downwards at his side, wearing a dhoti incised with foliate scrolls, his blue hair held in place with an elaborate crown, all raised on a rectangular-section pedestal decorated with animals and vajras, with a visvavajra to the base, 16.1cm overall, 393g.
