One pair decorated with lotus flowerheads set amongst scrolling foliage, with six character Daoguang marks and of the period, the other pair painted with pairs of phoenix flying amidst clouds, the bases with six character Guangxu marks and of the period, 16.3cm max. (4)

Provenance: from the collection of Sir Raymond Smith KBE (1917-2002) and Lady Smith (1918-1996).
