Each of the plates painted with the arms of Hay quarterly, Earls of Kinnoull, beneath a Scotsman, with the motto 'Renovate Animos' below, the coffee can decorated with the arms of the town of Newbury, with the motto 'Burgus de Newbury' above, with four brightly enamelled dragons around the arms, 23.3cm max.
