A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BLUE-GROUND VASES
LATE QING DYNASTY/REPUBLIC PERIOD
The ovoid bodies raised on flared feet and surmounted by waisted necks, each painted with three roundels enclosing birds and insects perching on blossoming branches, with floral sprays surrounding the panels, all reserved on a blue ground finely incised with sgraffito scrolls, mounted as lamps, the vases approx 34cm, 67cm overall.
