A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE YELLOW-GROUND CYLINDRICAL BRUSHPOT, BITONG
PROBABLY LATE QING DYNASTY
Brightly painted to the exterior with lotus flowerheads set amidst scrolling leaves, the blooms divided by bats and stylised gilt characters, all contained between bands of lappets and ruyi-heads, the interior and base glazed turquoise, with a six character Daoguang mark to the base, 13.5cm.
