Painted to one side in underglaze blue with a large roundel depicting a warrior on horseback as his attendants carry banners before him, the reverse painted with scholars watching figures boat down a river on a sampan, with sprays of fruits and flowers surrounding the scenes, the cylindrical neck flanked by two applied handles formed as dragons, 40.5cm.
