A rare Chinese red cinnabar lacquer gu beaker vase, after a bronze form, the central section carved with four of the bajixiang, including the conch shell, canopy and the wheel of law, the flared base carved with prunus and rock work, 19th century, minor damage and repairs, 30cm.
