A Chinese blue and white yen yen vase, brightly painted in underglaze blue with a dignitary and his servant being approached by a peasant with a gift, and a water buffalo in the foreground, the neck with sages inspecting a scroll, Kangxi 1662-1722, some damages, 46cm. From the collection of Professor D R Laurence MD. Provenance: purchased from D & M Freedman, London. Cf.
