A rare pair of Chinese export porcelain models of Indian elephants, each with its head lowered and standing four square, decorated with pale tangerine coloured skins and black beady eyes, late 18th century, 17cm. (2) Provenance: H.R.H. The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, Christie's, King Street, 26 January 2006. Cf.
