A Japanese cloisonn? square tray, decorated with a cockerel, a chick pecking at the grass at its feet, the rim decorated with dragonflies on a floral and foliate scroll, the reverse with a circular cartouche of fruit and nuts on a blue ground, two character inscription, possibly Hosen, and red seal, Meiji 1868-1912, 27.5cm.
