Slavery interest: an unusual Chinese famille rose saucer dish, the reverse with a contemporary European inscription beneath the name Okell, together with three various bowls and a small dish, 17th century and later, damages, 22cm. Cf. John Okell is recorded in the Liverpool Memorandum book 1753 as one of the merchants trading to Africa.
