A long Chinese hand scroll painting, depicting a procession of numerous figures including two yellow palanquins, figures on horseback crossing a bridge, and with spectators who stand and kneel as the dignitary passes, a row of shops in the background, 18th/19th century, 788cm x 45.5cm.
