A small Chinese ivory carving of four boys, consisting of two heads, two pairs of arms, two pairs of legs joined by four bodies, probably 17th century, wear and minor damage, 4cm.
This type of figure is sometimes referred to as si xi ren, a person who enjoys the four blessings of happiness, high official position, longevity and good luck.
