** A Chinese pale celadon brushrest, finely carved as formation of seven rounded slender rocks, before which grows a gnarled pine tree with extended branches in which a bat is perched, an old man stands on the jutted ledge holding a staff whilst an attendant cleans an elephant's trunk, probably 19th century, 21cm.
