** A Chinese pale celadon jade ovoid vase and cover, of flattened form, carved with a mythical beast clutching a thunderbolt in its mouth, the ring handles as fierce feline heads, the stone flecked with raw umber highlighting details of the carving, 18th century or later, raised on a wood stand, 17cm.
