A fine Japanese Satsuma deep U-shaped bowl, richly decorated with panels containing figures, landscapes and flowers on a ground decorated with pheasants perched amidst flowering trees, the interior with a multitude of tiny butterflies, the base with a four character signature for Genzan, Meiji 1868-1912, 12.5cm.
