A large Chinese painting dated 1984 by Tam Chong Yong

A large Chinese painting dated 1984 by Tam Chong Yong, depicting a hawk holding a rabbit in his talons, 138cm. x 67cm. Framed and glazed. Tam Chong Yong, whose studio name was Meimingtang, was born in Chengdu in 1933, where he studied traditional painting under Cai Heting. He is principal of the Chinese Painting Research Institute in Sichuan and stage manager of the Sichuan theatre in Chengdu.
