A Chinese blue and white double gourd vase

A Chinese blue and white double gourd vase, the flattened body with strap handles and painted with shou characters between dragons and beneath bats. A little good restoration to one handle. 18th/19th century, 18.5cm. A similar example from the Jiaqing period, from the Qing Court Collection in the Palace Museum, Beijing is illustrated by Geng Baochang, volume III, p.160, no.146.
