An unusual Chinese silver-gilt and enamelled jardini with a phoenix, an elephant, rockwork, a pagoda and small insects assembled beneath a fruiting pomegranate tree, the sides of the jardini applied with filigree, scrollwork cartouches and enamelled flower sprays, late 18th century, 40cm.
