Three Italian maiolica dishes early 20th century, two by Vincenzo Molaroni of Pesaro, one painted with a scene depicting the Rape of the Sabine Women within a wide border of mythical creatures and putti, the other with a portrait and the inscription 'Multo se Ipsum Quam Nostem Superasse Operosius Est' quoting Valerius Maximus, in a giltwood frame, the third dish with a bridge in a rococo landscape, one dish cracked, 32.5cm max.
