British and Continental Ceramics & Glass

Our summer British and Continental Ceramics and Glass sale takes place on July 2nd 2026, commencing at 10am.
The auction starts with Part 2 of a Collection of Privateer Glasses and items from three further private collections where some Jacobite, heavy baluster and a rare tartan twist wine glass are among the highlights.
This is followed by a range of Continental maiolica and British & Dutch delftware where feature lots include a collection of over 90 biblical tiles, a rare Royal Blue Dash Charger of William III, some ‘Farmhouse’ cockerel and peacock plates and some unusual bin labels.
English Pottery and Porcelain is well represented with lots include a Staffordshire figure of a leopard, a Derby Hors D’Oeuvres set, probably painted by William Billingsley, a rare pair of Bow pug dogs and two Royal Worcester vase painted by Harry and James Stinton.
The auction concludes with a selection of Continental porcelain including items from the Royal Copenhagen ‘Fuglestellet’ or Bird Service, a ‘Jewelled’ Sevres-style tea set in its original fitted case, three Russin porcelain figures from the Imperial Porcelain and Gardner Factories and a range of Meissen birds, animals and figures.
