A large Wedgwood black Jasperware 'Pegasus' vase and cover, 19th century, sprigged in white relief with The Apotheosis of Homer, from the design by John Flaxman, the reverse with a large palm tree and a Classical archway, the handles formed as biting serpents above a winged mark, the cover with a finial of Pegasus, impressed factory mark, some restoration to the handles, finial and foot, 48.5cm. (2)
