A large and rare creamware commemorative jug, c.1797, printed in black with a portrait cartouche of Lord Viscount Duncan flanked by Tritons and warships, beneath the banner 'Lord Viscount Duncan', the reverse with a naval engagement scene titled 'The Glorious 11th of October 1797', beneath the spout painted with the name 'Margaret Jones', 18.3cm.

The Battle of Camperdown was the most significant engagement between British and Batavian forces during the French Revolutionary Wars, where Duncan's fleet captured eleven ships without any loss of a British ship.
