Two creamware commemorative mugs relating to the end of the Napoleonic Wars, c.1814, one printed in brown with a titled portrait of Marshall Blucher, the other with the Prince of Orange beneath a banner titled 'Peace', with a third mug commemorating the death of General Ralph Abercromby, printed in black with soldiers flanking his tomb, some good restoration, 13cm max. (3)

Marshall Prince Blucher and the Crown Prince of Sweden were both allied heroes of the Napoleonic Wars. General Abercromby was killed in the 1801 Battle of Alexandria after being injured in the thigh by a musket. He refused to leave the battle until he saw the enemy retreating.
