A Nymphenburg part coffee service c.1780, painted with an ikat textile pattern, sometimes known as a chintz pattern, impressed shield marks. Comprising: a coffee pot and cover, three cups and three saucers. (8) This type of fabric-inspired pattern is listed in the price list of 1792 as "en taffent geflammt".
