A large Chelsea plate of Warren Hastings type, the well painted with scattered flowers and insects, the rim with vignettes of animals, birds and fabulous beasts in the manner of Jefferyes Hamett O'Neale between moulded diaper panels, red anchor mark, c.1753, cracked in half and reglued, 37cm.
