A good Chelsea ?tui with gold or gilt metal mounts, the top modelled as the head and shoulders of Columbine, wearing a plumed veil, the spiral-moulded base decorated with a pattern of gilt motifs, c.1760, 13cm. Cf. William King, Chelsea Porcelain, pl.48 no. 7 for a similar example.
