A small South Staffordshire enamel scent bottle, c.1770-80, the rectangular form painted with a scene of children playing with a wheeled chair, the reverse with a landscape, flanked by columns and reserved on a white ground with flower sprays, the gilt metal stopper formed as a bird, 7cm.

The scene of the Wheeling Chair is known in a Robert Hancock print for Worcester porcelain of a similar period.
