A George Jones Majolica trinket box and cover, c.1875, modelled as a butterfly and brightly enamelled with a naturalistic fashion, the base of butterfly shape and moulded with flowering plants around the edge, and a porcelain example left in the white, moulded registration diamonds, impressed mark to the first, a small repair to the majolica cover, 9.8cm across.
