A large Meissen figure of a Sultan riding an elephant, 19th century, modelled in the 18th century by J J Kändler, the turbanned figure seated on tasselled cushions and a howdah, a young black attendant perched on top of the elephant's head, faint blue crossed swords mark, a small amount of good restoration, 26.5cm high.
