A Meissen yellow ground cup and saucer, c.1740, the cup painted with panels of figures in harbour scenes, the saucer with a courting couple beneath trees with a cathedral visible beyond, reserved on a yellow ground, with gilt scrollwork borders, blue crossed swords marks and gilders' marks, some restoration to the back of the saucer, 13cm.
