A rare pair of Worcester partridge tureens and covers, c.1755-56, modelled with heads slightly turned, seated in nests of coiled leaves set into basket bases, their plumage naturalistically detailed, the edges of the nests brightly enamelled, painter's mark to one, a good repair to one cover, 14.5cm across.
