Three Vienna chocolate or coffee cups and two saucers, c.1760-70, painted by or in the manner of Andreas Oettner with pastoral figures at various pursuits, one saucer with a woman entertaining a soldier dismounted from his horse, the other with a traveller seated on rocks, the well with a pierced trembleuse gallery, one cup unusually painted with two topers carousing on a pig crate and calling for more ale, all within formal gilt scroll borders, blue shield marks, some impressed marks, 13.5cm max.
